Tips for Printing a large matrix when "fit to page" is not an option

Most printers offer a "fit to page" scale option in the printer dialog.  However, if yours does not - here is a quick way to print a matrix that does not fit nicely on 8.5x11.

1. Click the print button on the matrix screen

2. This opens up the print page...

• the east/west items are now fully expanded

• header and tab info is cleared out

3. Click the printer icon

• this will open the web printer dialog

• make sure the printer is "PDF"

• You may need to click "More Settings" to see the page size options

4. Adjust the page size until you see the full matrix in the view.

• If legal is not large enough try A3

• Once the matrix fits - print to PDF

NOTE: This does not mean that you need to print on this size paper!

5. Once the PDF opens...

• Choose the Fit or Shrink Option

• The papersize should default to 8.5x11, if not the page set up dialog will let you change it.

• If your matrix is very large, you may want to print on legal for readability.
