Using Queries to Find and Report on Kaizen Activity

Queries are the foundation of creating reports and finding information in Optimizer.  Setting up standard queries ensures that you are referencing the same data set every time you run a different report.

Navigate to the Find Kaizens and Create Queries Screen

  1. This screen allows you to search for a single or group of kaizens based on the criteria you set.

Select the criteria to include in your search

  1. On this screen, use the various criteria to refine the list of kaizens by location, type, status or any combination of criteria that you need

Run the query 

  1. Click Run to view the  results

Save the query

  1. If everything looks good, name and save the query.  This will be the foundation set of data that you will apply to your reports

Options once you've created the query

  1. You can .... copy the query to another user, have the query list emailed to your inbox, save the query to your home page and more

  2. Click on the gear icon next to the query name to view options
